What you’ll find on this page Genetics & lineage Flavor & aroma Effects Growing tips Why buy from Seeds Here Now Northern Lights Seeds: Genetics & Lineage The lineage pairs Northern Lights — the foundational indica that shaped decades of breeding — with Lowryder, the pioneer of the autoflower movement. Two pieces of cannabis history in one seed. The cross keeps Northern Lights’ famously smooth, resinous character while adding Lowryder’s automatic flowering. Every seed is feminized, so all three grow into flowering females. Flavor & Aroma The aroma blends citrus, earth, pepper, and pine — clean, classic, and comforting, like a walk through a winter forest. Myrcene, caryophyllene, and pinene drive the terps, delivering an earthy-sweet smoke with peppery warmth and a crisp pine finish that goes down easy. Effects & Cannabinoids At a gentle 15% to 20% THC, effects run creative, happy, and relaxing with reliable stress relief — the archetypal evening indica without the knockout punch. For the history of foundational lines like this, see this primer on cannabis genetics. It is an unwind-and-smile strain: perfect for evenings, gentle enough for occasional consumers, and nostalgic for everyone else. Growing Northern Lights Seeds Rated intermediate, these autos finish in 9 to 10 weeks with moderate yields. The breeder recommends slightly acidic soil and gentle LST to shape plants without stressing the automatic timeline. Northern Lights’ legendary resilience carries over — steady conditions and a light touch are all it asks. Browse more cannabis seeds at Seeds Here Now to pair a classic with something new.
