What you’ll find on this page Genetics & lineage Flavor & aroma Effects Growing tips Why buy from Seeds Here Now Apples and Bananas Seeds: Genetics & Lineage The lineage stacks three modern flavor giants: Apples & Bananas contributes its famous orchard-fruit sweetness and heavy resin, Guava Dawg brings tropical funk with a savory dawg-family undercurrent, and Banana Sherbet smooths everything into creamy, dessert-like territory. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid with remarkable aromatic depth. Crockett Family Farms — the California family program behind Tangie — released this cross as regular seeds, so packs contain males and females alike. For breeders, that makes these Apples and Bananas seeds genuine foundation stock rather than grow-only genetics. Flavor & Aroma The breeder lists the headline aroma simply: diesel. Expect that fuel note to ride over the fruit-heavy genetic background, giving the flowers a gassy edge that keeps the sweetness honest. A five-terpene spread of caryophyllene, humulene, limonene, linalool, and myrcene shapes the smoke — peppery spice, subtle hops, citrus brightness, floral softness, and an earthy base rolling through in turn. It is a complex profile built for connoisseurs. Effects & Cannabinoids With THC between 20% and 25%, flower grown from these Apples and Bananas seeds is tuned for daytime use, creative sessions, and social boosts. The sativa-dominant effect arrives bright and talkative, sharpening focus for projects and lifting group energy without tipping into raciness at reasonable doses. Growing Apples and Bananas Seeds Plants flower in 8 to 10 weeks and deliver high yields. Difficulty is intermediate: the breeder advises topping early and using LST or a SCROG net to spread the canopy and control stretch through weeks 1-3 of flower, keeping lights slightly closer early and raising PPFD gradually to tighten internodes. Given the sativa influence, leave vertical headroom and maintain steady airflow through dense mid-canopy growth. Comparing fruit-forward hybrids?
