Carbon dioxide enrichment to 1,000 µmol/3m increased yields and plant dry weight of tomato plants by 30% (Slack, 1986) and 36% (Yelle et al., 1987), respectively. Cucumber (Dennis, 1980), lettuce (Knecht and O’Leary, 1983), and many ornamental species (Mortensen, 1987) also responded positively to CO2 enrichment. In an indoor space with normal fresh air ventilation, the CO2 concentration should be around 400 ppm. Warning: Only use in the upright position, or you run the risk of breaking your regulator with liquid CO2. Add to Wishlist Add to Wishlist
