Atami ATA Cal Mag – Ensures accelerated and powerful growth. A professional and fast-acting additive, applicable on all types of substrates. ATA Calmag is a nutrient cocktail which supplies the additional calcium and magnesium that your plants require. These secondary nutrition elements are essential for an optimal growth as they have essential roles in the formation of cell walls and the absorption of light energy. ATA Calmag is ideal when used to cultivate with soft water or water that has been demineralized. Additionally, it is an excellent additive to your regular fertilizer regime. Atami ATA Cal Mag IS SUITABLE FOR: Different kinds of vegetables, fruits and herbs like tomatoes, courgettes, bell peppers, strawberries, cabbage, etc. The required dosage can be measured to meet the needs of individual plants or crop. APPLICATION: Use ATA Calmag to enrich water that is poor in calcium and magnesium or as an additive to your regular fertilizer solution. Use water at room temperature (21 °C) for an optimal result. DOSAGE: 0.1 – 1 ml per litre of water. More on Calcium Magnesium deficiencies… Coir-grown plants often need calcium and magnesium supplements, commonly referred to as “Cal-Mag,” because coir (coconut fiber) has a tendency to bind with these nutrients, making them less available to plants. Coir has a high cation exchange capacity (CEC), which means it can hold onto positively charged ions like calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺). While this characteristic helps retain nutrients, it can also result in calcium and magnesium being less accessible for plant uptake. This can lead to deficiencies, manifesting in poor growth and reduced yield. Therefore, supplementing with Cal-Mag ensures that plants receive adequate amounts of these essential nutrients, promoting optimal health and development.
