GrowMax Water 10" KDF85/Catalytic Carbon Filter

The 10″ KDF85/Catalytic Carbon Filter is compatible with the HydroLogic Stealth-RO150 and Stealth-RO300 Reverse Osmosis Systems, and the HydroLogic smallBoy Dechlorinator & Sediment System. This product is an equivalent alternative to HydroLogic Part Number HL 22060 and Hawthorne Part Number HGC741622. Say goodbye to chloramines, iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals with the KDF85 filter. KDF85 media sets the standard for advanced water purification and serves as an excellent pre-treatment for reverse osmosis filtration. KDF85 goes beyond just removing chlorine and chloramines—it’s also an ideal solution for those using well or spring water, effectively eliminating contaminants that can negatively impact plant health. Poor water quality, particularly high levels of iron and sulfur, can lead to nutrient lockout, reducing both yield and quality. These impurities can also clog RO membranes, making pre-treatment essential for maintaining an efficient filtration system. By eliminating harmful substances, our KDF85/Catalytic Carbon Filters help create an optimal environment for beneficial microorganisms, allowing them to thrive. Healthier plants, bigger harvests, and superior quality! Flow Rate: up to 1 GPM (gallons per minute) Reduces chlorine, sulfur, iron, and other heavy metals. Excellent for use with well water. Offers twice the lifespan of the standard Green Coconut Carbon Block Filter. REPLACEMENT SCHEDULE: To keep your filter in optimum working condition, we recommend replacing every 2,000 gallons if used with the HydroLogic Stealth RO System, and every 6,000 gallons if used with the HydroLogic smallBoy System.
