DIG Excel Series 16 mm Pressure Compensating Dripline – 12 in. / 0.58 GPH - 500 Feet - Black

Ideal for berries, vines, fruit trees and field crops. DIG’s Excel PCD (Pressure Compensating Dripline) 1/2" 16 mm with two outlets per emitter is reliable, durable, and precise with all the features you look for in an economical pressure compensating dripline. The dripline’s cylindrical drip emitters have exceptional self-regulating characteristics to ensure flow uniformity at a wide range of operating pressures, presenting many advantages in water management including longer laterals, high uniformity on slopes, and operation in challenging topography. Each emitter’s floating silicone diaphragm with a large cross-sectional labyrinth water passage ensures uniformity is not disrupted by suspended elements in the water. The drip emitter’s self-flushing mode allows particles to pass through, providing reliable performance and longer life. Extruded from premium low-density polyethylene resins with UV protection, Excel PC Dripline offers a combination of outstanding environmental stress-cracking resistance and burst strength with commonly used fertilizers or chemicals to support a trouble-free, sustainable and efficient irrigation system. The dripline is available with emitters in 12" or 18" spacing. The dripline is available with flow rates of 0.58 or 0.92 GPH Available in 500' and 1000' coils (152 m, 305 m) Line Diameter of .550" ID x .640" OD OD Features: Two flow rates to provide maximum flexibility in a variety of applications Flow regulated, self-flushing inline drip emitters deliver equal flow at a wide range of operating pressures Flow uniformity regardless of operating pressure and variation along the line Each drip emitter is a self-contained unit molded into the interior wall of the tubing Turbulent flow through a large labyrinth water passage helps reduce clogging Each emitter is made of three individual sections including a cylindrical plastic housing with labyrinth water passage, a plastic receptacle and floating silicon diaphragm Resistant to chemicals and fertilizers commonly used in landscaping Flexible tubing for easy installation The dripline is marked with flow rate, size and date for easy identification Use with DIG’s 1/2″ barbed and compression fittings Specifications for the Excel Series 16mm Dripline Nominal flow rates: 0.58 GPH (2 L/H) or 0.95 GPH (3.6 L/H) Operating pressure: 12-50 PSI (0.8-3.5 BAR) Materials: Low-density polyethylene resin with a minimum of 2% carbon black Size: .640" OD (16.3 mm OD) with a wall thickness of .035" - .045" (0.9 - 1.1 mm) Spacing: 12" or 18" Available in: 500' and 1000' coils (152 m, 305 m) Minimum bending radius: 1' (.3 m) Filter requirement: minimum of 150 mesh
