Twister T4 Wet Trimmer with Extra Wet Tumbler | 23 lbs/hr

Why This Twister T4 Wet Trimmer Ships With Two Drums A second drum is the difference between swapping in seconds and stopping for a wash. This configuration ships with that spare rather than leaving it as an afterthought. The machine trims up to 23 pounds of wet material an hour, or 7 pounds dry, from a single five inch tumbler. Cut height is 0.040 inches, and six tumbler speeds against six blade speeds give thirty six combinations to work through. The blade motor runs 200 watts between 980 and 1875 rpm, while the tumbler motor is a 6 watt unit turning at 47 to 96 rpm. The frame measures 25 by 15 by 16.5 inches and weighs 56 pounds, or 120 with the leaf collector. It runs on 115 volts drawing around 2 amps, on a 15 amp circuit. That is the reason growers take this machine to the field rather than only running it on a bench. A 70 micron filter bag comes with it. Twister covers the machine for three years, with a further two available. What the Extra Wet Tumbler Actually Does The standard drum carries quarter inch slots, which is the size the machine ships with and the one most wet work uses. A second identical drum is not about slot size, it is about not stopping. Wet material loads a tumbler with resin faster than anything else you will run through it. With a spare on the bench the loaded drum comes out, the clean one goes in, and the line keeps moving. The swap takes seconds and needs no tools. Washing then happens once at the end of the shift rather than three times during it. Both drums go under the pressure washer together, since the motors and electrics are watertight. The blades are nitrided high carbon steel rated to around six hundred hours of work. For a room that harvests wet on a schedule, the second drum pays for itself in the first heavy week. Key Features Two Drums Included: A second standard slot tumbler ships with the machine rather than arriving later. Thirty Six Combinations: Six tumbler speeds against six blade speeds, so the setting matches the strain and the moisture. Portable Weight: At 56 pounds the machine travels, and it runs from an ordinary 15 amp circuit. Leaf Collector Included: A 70 micron filter bag and the collector come with the machine rather than separately. Tool Free Swap: A resin loaded drum comes out and a clean one goes in without a wash in between. Three Year Warranty: Twister covers the machine for three years, with a further two years available.
