Twister T4 Trim Saver CS-12 (SS Bin + Cleanable Cyclone)

How the Twister Trim Saver CS-12 Keeps Trim Intact Ordinary trimmer vacuums pull everything through the impeller, and what comes out the far end is mulch. This unit turns that arrangement around. A radial cyclone drops the material into a bin under the separator first, and only the air carries on to the fan. Over 99% of what leaves the T4 ends up in that bin as recognisable leaf. Behind it sits a 1.5 hp motor at 3450 RPM on 120V. It moves 1190 CFM against 6.5 in of static pressure through a 10 in impeller and a 5 in cyclone inlet. It stands 62 in tall and weighs 155 lbs. Startup draw is 47 A against 15 A running, which is why it wants a dedicated 20 amp circuit. Planning Cyclone Trim Collection Around a T4 Treat this as part of the room layout rather than an accessory that turns up later. It is tall and heavy, and it needs a hose run to the trimmer that does not kink. It also wants its own breaker on a NEMA five fifteen outlet. At eighty decibels it is loud enough that a trim room becomes a place people wear ear protection. The payoff is what sits in the bin at the end of a session. Intact trim is worth far more going into extraction than shredded material. Emptying takes a couple of minutes since the collection bin lifts out under the cyclone. Wipe the separator, the hoses and the impeller housing between sessions. Change the filter bag when airflow starts to fall off rather than on a calendar. One point to get right first. This is the T4 unit, and the T2 takes the larger CS-18 instead. Key Features Cyclone ahead of the impeller: Trim drops into the bin intact instead of being shredded on its way through. Over 99% separation: Almost everything leaving the trimmer is recovered rather than lost into the bag. 1190 CFM at 6.5 in static: Enough airflow to keep a T4 clear without the hose loading up mid session. 1.5 hp motor at 3450 RPM: Runs on a standard 120V supply with a 20 amp breaker behind it. Removable collection bin: Lifts out under the cyclone, so emptying is a two minute job between batches. 1 to 80 micron filter bag: Catches the fines that do get past the cyclone and keeps the room breathable. Tool free cleaning: Separator, hoses and impeller housing all open up for a wipe down.
