TrolMaster ECS-12 4-Pin Waterproof Splitter Cable. IP65 X-Splitter

TrolMaster ECS-12 Branches the ThinkGrow Lighting Control Line The ECS-12 is a short X-shaped splitter for the 4-pin dimming connectors used across the ThinkGrow lighting system. It links ThinkGrow LEDs or LMA-T modules so one control signal can reach more than a single run of fixtures. There are two female and two male ends, and you use whichever combination your layout needs. Each end has a locking collar, so a bumped cable or a pulled fixture will not drop the connection. The housing carries an IP65 rating against dust and water jets. It is rated for rooms from 32 to 122°F at up to 90% relative humidity. The splitter body is only 40 mm long, so it tucks up against a fixture or along a trellis wire. Two plastic plugs come in the box to cap any end you leave empty. Those caps keep moisture out of the open pins during foliar spraying and washdown. It ships in a 3.35 × 3.15 × 2.03 in package. Where a 4-Pin Waterproof Splitter Fits in a ThinkGrow Layout A typical ThinkGrow room uses an ECS-9 cable to carry the controller's lighting signal to the first fixture. From there the signal daisy-chains fixture to fixture along each row. The ECS-12 comes in when a single chain is not enough, such as splitting one feed into two parallel rows. It also helps when a fixture in the middle of a run has to come down without breaking every light after it. TrolMaster describes the cable as abrasion and corrosion resistant, and it is rated for indoor or outdoor use. That covers greenhouses and humid flower rooms where an unsealed connector would be more exposed. Seat each locking ring fully before powering up, because a half-seated connector can drop the signal. Label each branch at the splitter so the next person can trace which row each output feeds. This splitter only carries the low-voltage control signal and does not carry fixture power. Keep it away from the driver's line-voltage cable to reduce the chance of signal interference. Key Features X-Splitter Layout: Two male and two female ends let one control run branch into another row of fixtures. IP65 Rated: Dust-tight and protected from water jets, so it holds up in wet grow rooms and greenhouses. Locking Connectors: Each end locks in place so vibration or a tug on the cable will not break the link. Sealing Caps Included: Two plugs close off any unused end to keep moisture off the pins. Compact 40 mm Body: The small splitter sits close to the fixture and stays out of the canopy.
