TrimIt Dry 1000 Dry Trimmer | 1 to 1.5 lb Batches, 15 Min Timer

What the TrimIt Dry 1000 Handles Per Cycle Batch size is the number to start with. This one takes roughly 1 to 1.5 lbs of dried flower at a time. A built in 15 minute timer shuts the unit off when it reaches zero. The cabinet is stainless steel on a powder coated steel stand, measuring 26 x 20 x 23 in and weighing 47 lbs, on 110V. Two blades come with it. One is engineered polymer, corrosion resistant and low friction, meeting FDA and USDA guidelines. The other is 304 stainless, for when you want a harder edge. An 8 point adjustable tilt sets how the material tumbles, and the drum turns counter clockwise. Double plexi shields held by magnets keep hands out while it is running. Working a Dry Trimmer Without Losing Quality Moisture content decides everything here, and dry means properly dry rather than nearly there. Flower still holding moisture smears against the blade instead of being cut. You end up with a dull finish and a barrel that needs scraping. Start with the tilt low and a short run on a test batch. Check it, then add time rather than starting long, because you cannot put trim back on. The tilt adjustment is the control most people ignore. A steeper angle moves material through faster and trims lighter, a shallower one holds it longer and cuts closer. The barrel lifts straight out for cleaning, which matters more than any figure on paper. Resin builds on every surface it touches and a machine that is awkward to strip stops getting cleaned. On scale, be honest with yourself. At a pound and a half a cycle this is a serious home or small commercial machine. A facility running continuously will want something larger. Key Features 1 to 1.5 lbs per cycle: Enough for a home harvest or a small commercial run without queueing batches all day. 15 minute timer: Set it and it stops itself, so nothing gets over trimmed while you are elsewhere. 8 point adjustable tilt: Controls how long material stays in the drum, which is how you dial in the finish. Two blades included: An FDA and USDA compliant polymer blade plus a 304 stainless blade for versatility. Removable barrel: Lifts out for cleaning, which is the difference between a machine used and one abandoned. Stainless housing: Wipes down properly and holds up outdoors as well as in a trim room. Magnetic plexi shields: Keeps hands clear of the blade while the drum is turning. Made in North America: Backed by a one year warranty from the manufacturer.
