This production bucker carries two operator stations, each pulling flower off the stem through an interchangeable bucking plate. Both wet and dry plates come standard, and each station can run a different plate at the same time. The dry plate has 3/4, 1/2 and 3/8 in holes, while the wet plate adds 1/4 and 3/16 in holes for finer stems. Each station has its own infinitely adjustable speed control. Rated throughput is up to 300 lbs of flower per hour, taking stems up to 3/4 in across. The frame is stainless steel and aluminum, with IP65 washdown-grade components that take a pressure washer. The build is GMP compliant and food safe, using UL components and US and German drive parts. An emergency stop and lockout-tagout controls protect operators during runs and service. Height adjusts to the crew, and ergonomic material holders keep branches within easy reach. The machine runs on 120V and measures 57 in high, 51 in wide and 37 in long. It weighs 243 lbs and is made in Northern California.
Running a Triminator BuckMaster at Harvest
A Triminator BuckMaster earns its place where a crew strips hundreds of pounds of branches in a day. Set the working height for the operators before the first branch goes through. Fit the plate that matches the material, and choose the hole size by stem thickness. Wet bucking usually runs faster, since fresh flower is sturdier and tolerates higher speeds. Dry flower is more fragile, so slow the station down to keep buds from breaking apart. With two stations, one operator can buck wet while the other bucks dry. Feed each branch stem first and let the plate pull the flower off cleanly. Keep the area below the plates clear so stripped flower drops freely into collection bins. Use the emergency stop for any jam, and lock out power before reaching into a station. Pressure wash the machine after each session, then let it dry before storage.
