Why the Trim Bin Shape Is Cut the Way It Is
This is a tool designed around the person holding it rather than around the plant. The walls are steep, which keeps material contained and stops it travelling onto a floor. On one side those walls are deliberately lowered.

This is a tool designed around the person holding it rather than around the plant. The walls are steep, which keeps material contained and stops it travelling onto a floor. On one side those walls are deliberately lowered. That single cut lets a forearm rest at a natural angle instead of being held up over a rim. Across a full day it is the difference between finishing comfortably and finishing sore. The sculpted body is meant to be worked in the lap rather than on a table, which changes the posture of the whole job. Sitting upright with the work in your lap keeps the spine neutral, where leaning over a table does not. Edges are wide and rounded rather than square, because a thin edge under a wrist for hours is its own injury. Harvest More make it in California and cover it for a year.
The 150 Micron Screen and What It Keeps
Screen gauge is a filter decision and the number is chosen with care. At a hundred and fifty micron the openings pass the resin heads knocked loose during handling. They hold back leaf fragments, stalk and the coarse debris that would otherwise contaminate the catch. A coarser mesh collects more material and more of it is rubbish. A finer one keeps the larger heads out on the working surface where they get lost. The screen is stainless steel and it is fixed in place rather than removable, so nothing works loose mid-session. Everything passing through lands on a mirror finished lower tray. That surface is smooth enough for a static brush to lift the catch cleanly, instead of leaving half of it behind in a texture. The brush is supplied in the box. Both halves are recyclable polypropylene and they nest for storage. The packed set measures 20 x 16 x 6 in.
