ThinkGrow DOA-10 30A AWG #10 Hardwire Cord for OPA-2 Output. 3 ft

ThinkGrow DOA-10 Connects Other Equipment to the OPA-2 The OPA-2 Smart Junction Box was built to feed and protect strings of ThinkGrow LEDs. Its output is designed for ThinkGrow's own daisy-chain power cords rather than other brands' equipment. The DOA-10 bridges that gap with a short cord for the OPA-2's output side. That opens the box to high-draw loads such as pumps, HVAC fans and dehumidifiers. The cord is 10 AWG copper with a 5.26 mm² conductor area. It is rated to 30A at 100–277V, matching the OPA-2's top shut-off setting. Conductor resistance is listed at under 12 mΩ, so voltage drop over the short run is negligible. The length is 3 ft (0.9 m), enough to reach a nearby junction or disconnect. The OPA-2 itself links to Hydro-X Pro (HCS-2) and Hydro-X Plus (HCS-3) controllers. The package measures 5.43 × 6.69 × 2.52 in and weighs about 0.95 lbs. What an OPA-2 Hardwire Cord Adds to Non-LED Loads Once connected, the load picks up the OPA-2's real-time readings of voltage, current, power and power factor. Overcurrent protection can be set to trip at 15, 20 or 30 amps. The box cuts power within half a second when current climbs 20% past the chosen point. That gives an expensive pump or dehumidifier the same protection the LED string gets. Size the shut-off point to the equipment's nameplate draw, not just the cord's rating. Have a licensed electrician terminate the equipment end to local code. Keep the connection indoors and away from standing water, as the OPA-2 manual requires. The OPA-2 manual is attached below for the full box wiring and setup steps. For ThinkGrow LED strings, the regular daisy-chain power cords remain the right choice. Use this cord only where a non-ThinkGrow device needs to run from an OPA-2. Key Features Made for OPA-2 Output: Connects non-ThinkGrow equipment to the Smart Junction Box output side. 10 AWG, 30A Rated: Heavy copper conductor sized for high-draw pumps, fans and dehumidifiers. 100–277V: Works across standard commercial line voltages. Low Resistance: Under 12 mΩ with a 5.26 mm² copper area for minimal voltage drop. Short 3 ft Run: Compact length for connections close to the junction box.
