Shear Perfection Platinum Curved Trimming Shear | 2 in Stainless

Why a Curved Trimming Shear Cuts Differently The curve is the whole design. A straight blade meets a stem flat and pushes material away as it closes. A curved blade holds what it is cutting against the inside of the arc instead. It takes a clean bite around a rounded surface rather than sliding off it. On close work in a tight canopy that difference decides how many passes a cut takes. Working With 2 in Trimming Scissors All Day Blade length is 2 in, short enough to get into tight quarters without losing enough edge to make the cut. Both blades are forged from premium Japanese surgical steel, which holds an edge through resin and washes clean rather than pitting. Overall length is 6.5 in. The handle is spring loaded, so the shear opens itself between cuts and your hand only does the closing. That halves the work over a long session. It is the point of any pair of 2 in trimming scissors you plan to hold for hours. An easy-lock mechanism closes them for storage so nothing catches in a drawer. The grip is ergonomic and symmetrical, working the same in a right or a left hand. Rinse and dry them at the end of a session rather than letting resin set in the pivot.
