Ruck 12 inch Flat Protection Grille | Galvanized Steel, IP44

A Flat Protection Grille Sized for 12 Inch Duct Most duct openings fail the same way: something crawls in while the fan is off. This grille closes the 12 in opening against insects, leaf litter and rodents without narrowing the bore. It is galvanized steel sheet, IP44 rated, and weighs 0.2 lbs. Where This Duct Guard Belongs in the Run Position it on the exposed end of the run, intake or exhaust. It earns its place most on a duct that terminates outdoors, where wasps find an idle fan within days. Do not mistake it for filtration. Dust passes straight through, which is deliberate, since a fine mesh here would choke the fan. Clear it of leaves after autumn storms and it will last as long as the duct. It matches Ruck collars directly, so there is no adaptor step. Nothing here seals against pressure, and nothing needs to; the grille exists to keep solids out. Key Features Galvanized Steel Sheet: Resists corrosion in humid exhaust air and outdoor terminations. IP44 Rated: Rated against dust ingress and splashing water at the duct mouth. Low-Profile Flat Pressing: Sits close to the collar, so nothing projects into a walkway. 12 in Duct Fit: Matches Ruck 12 in collars and standard 12 in ducting. 0.2 lbs: Light enough that it changes nothing about how the duct is supported. Pest and Debris Exclusion: Stops insects, birds and leaf litter entering an idle duct.
