Ruck 10" Backdraft Damper | Galvanized Steel Spring-Loaded Duct Damper

The Ruck 10-inch backdraft damper enforces one-way airflow in a 10" duct run, its spring-loaded aluminum flaps opening on extraction and sealing shut when the fan stops to block backdrafts. This duct backdraft damper uses a galvanized steel housing and a rubber seal for a tight close, and mounts horizontally or vertically. Ruck 10-Inch Backdraft Damper for One-Way Duct Airflow The Ruck 10-inch backdraft damper drops into a 10" duct run and lets air move in only one direction: its spring-loaded aluminum flaps swing open while the fan pulls, then fall closed against a rubber seal the moment airflow stops. That keeps outside air, odors, and conditioned air from flowing back into a sealed grow room when the exhaust fan cycles off. The galvanized steel housing resists the humidity and corrosion that warp lighter dampers over time. Duct Backdraft Damper That Mounts Either Way Because the flaps are spring-loaded rather than gravity-only, this duct backdraft damper seals in horizontal or vertical runs, so growers can place it wherever the exhaust path routes — right after an inline fan, or at the wall penetration where air leaves the room. Fitting it inline is the simplest way to hold negative pressure and stop pests and light from sneaking back through an idle exhaust duct. Key Features 10" duct fit: Inserts directly into a standard 10-inch round duct run. Spring-loaded aluminum flaps: Open on extraction and close positively when the fan stops, unlike gravity-only shutters. Rubber seal: A built-in gasket gives a tight close that blocks reverse airflow and odor. Galvanized steel housing: Resists humidity and corrosion for long service in grow-room exhaust. Horizontal or vertical mount: Spring-loaded flaps seal in any orientation along the duct path.
