QuietCool CL-6000 Whole House Fan 120V. 5,665 CFM 2-Speed Ducted Attic Fan

The QuietCool CL-6000 whole house fan moves up to 5,665 CFM through a patented acoustical duct and R5 damper box that hang in the attic, cooling homes and grow rooms up to 2,840 sq ft with the motor noise kept overhead. This ducted whole house fan runs a 2-speed 120 VAC motor, exchanging air fast enough to cut reliance on AC. QuietCool CL-6000 Whole House Fan for Fast, Quiet Heat Removal The QuietCool CL-6000 whole house fan suspends its motorhead and a patented self-contained acoustical duct from the attic rafters on a barometric R5 damper box, pulling cool outside air through open windows and sweeping it across the room while heat exhausts overhead. On high it moves 5,665 CFM at 769 W, and low speed holds 4,289 CFM at 560 W, all from a 120 VAC 2-speed motor. At 2 CFM per square foot it covers up to 2,840 sq ft, clearing hot, stale air from grow rooms, lung rooms, and whole homes. Ducted Whole House Fan That Retrofits Without Framing As a ducted whole house fan, the CL-6000 uses a 22-inch, 9-foot duct and a 14 1/4" x 36 1/4" ceiling opening on 16" or 24" on-center joists with no framing or joist cutting. Growers usually run it on high after lights-out with a few windows open to pull night air across the canopy, then drop to low to hold temps, with the R5 dampers sealing the ceiling against attic air when it's idle. It wires to an 8-hour electronic timer, a Hi-Low-Off switch, or Wi-Fi smart control (sold separately), and works best with at least 7.56 sq ft of net free attic venting. Key Features 5,665 CFM two-speed airflow: High and low stages (5,665 / 4,289 CFM) clear peak heat fast, then hold steady background exchange. Quiet acoustical-duct design: The patented self-contained duct and attic-mounted motor keep vibration and hum out of the room below. Energy-efficient motor: Draws 769 W on high and 560 W on low, moving large air volumes without an AC-sized power pull. Covers up to 2,840 sq ft: Sized for grow rooms, lung rooms, and whole homes at the recommended 2 CFM per square foot. No-framing retrofit install: Fits 16" or 24" on-center joists with no framing or joist cutting, using a 14 1/4" x 36 1/4" ceiling opening. R5 dampers, 10-year warranty: Insulated barometric dampers seal the ceiling when idle, backed by a decade of coverage.
