Ona Block Fresh Linen, 6 oz. Odor Neutralizer for Small Spaces

Ona Block Fresh Linen, a Solid Odor Neutralizer This is a 6 oz solid Ona block in the Fresh Linen scent, made to neutralize odors in small, enclosed spaces. Ona formulates it to break down smells in the air rather than cover them with fragrance. The block sits in a compact tub about 3 x 3 in, so it fits on a shelf, in a corner or tucked behind gear. To start it, remove the cap completely, or punch several small holes in it for a slower release. From there it gives off its neutralizing agent steadily, with nothing to plug in or refill. Ona suggests it for closets, foyers, attics, cupboards, kitchens and garbage cans. It also works in cars, boats, gym bags and vents, anywhere a small space holds stale air. Fresh Linen leaves a light, clean scent once the odor is gone. The tub weighs about half a pound, easy to move from one problem spot to the next. Replace it when the block has shrunk and odors start to return. Getting the Most From a Small-Space Odor Neutralizer A small-space odor neutralizer works best where air moves gently past it. Set the block near the path of airflow, such as beside a vent or a small circulation fan, rather than in a dead corner. In a closet or cupboard, place it on a high shelf so the released agent drifts down through the space. Start with the cap fully off in a strong-smelling area, then switch to a punched cap once the odor is under control. Punching more holes speeds release, while fewer holes stretch the life of the block. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heaters, which drive it off faster. In a tent or small room, the block can sit near the entry or work area to freshen the air you walk through. For exhaust ducting, a carbon filter on the fan is still the main odor control. Wipe any residue from shelves with a damp cloth. Store spare blocks sealed, since an open tub starts working as soon as air reaches it.
