OG Biowar Nute Pack: Four Microbe Groups Working the Root Zone The Nute Pack is the root-zone workhorse in the OG Biowar lineup, a talc-carried blend of four microbial groups that each unlock a different nutrient. Nitrogen fixers turn atmospheric nitrogen into nitrate the plant can use, producing vitamins, auxins and gibberellins along the way. Phosphate solubilizers break down locked-up tricalcium phosphate into the soluble monocalcium form, releasing organic acids and enzymes as they work. Potash mobilizers pull potassium toward the roots, which matters in coco because coco tends to hold potassium. The fourth group is endomycorrhizae. Four Glomus species are included, intraradices, mosseae, aggregatum and clarum, at 125 spore colonies per gram of each. Together they extend the reach of the root system and bring more of what is already in the medium within range. None of this is fertilizer in the NPK sense. It works by making the soil or coco more productive. It pays off most where there is organic matter for the microbes to work on. Getting Endo Mycorrhizae Established Early in Veg Endo mycorrhizae need living roots to colonize, so timing matters more than dose. OG Biowar wants the Nute Pack applied as early as possible, and two or three applications during vegetative growth are enough. For a drench, mix 1/4 teaspoon, about 1.25 grams, per liter of non-chlorinated water. Stir out the clumps, let the talc settle for three to five minutes and pour off the liquid. Dry use is 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of mix at transplant, so a five-gallon pot gets one and a quarter teaspoons. Outdoors, till 1/4 teaspoon per square foot into the top soil before planting. In a Bio Brew, soil and coco growers add four teaspoons once the brew is finished, during veg only. Heavy phosphorus feeding suppresses mycorrhizal colonization, so it fits best with moderate, organic-leaning programs. At the drench rate a 4 oz pack treats roughly 23 gallons of water, a 16 oz pack about 95, and a 10 kg bucket over 2,100.
