NPK Industries RAW Kelp 8 oz | 99% Ascophyllum Nodosum Soluble Kelp

NPK RAW Kelp Is Seaweed With Nothing Else in the Jar RAW Kelp is the seaweed piece of NPK Industries' single-ingredient RAW line, and it is meant to be mixed rather than poured. The powder is 99% Ascophyllum nodosum extract, the cold-water brown seaweed behind most serious kelp inputs. No water, stabilizers or carriers are added, so nothing in the jar is there to bulk it up. It dissolves fully, which is why growers run it through drip emitters and inline injectors without worrying about residue. The label rate for reservoirs is 1/16 to 1/8 tsp per gallon, a dose small enough to need a proper measuring spoon. Most growers land at the low end in early veg and nudge toward the top of that range once plants are rooted in. Stir it into the reservoir first, then build the rest of the feed around it. The same mix works as a foliar spray, a root drench after transplant, or a seed soak before sowing. For foliar use, spray in the first hour after lights-on and skip the flower once buds have set. Treat it as a biostimulant first. Its value comes from the seaweed's natural growth compounds and trace minerals, not from bulk potassium. Where a Soluble Kelp Extract Earns Its Spot in the Feed Program Kelp shows its worth in the stressful weeks: after transplant, through a heat spike, or while a room recovers from a pest knockdown. Because this one is single-ingredient, you can add it to a base line without tipping the balance of anything else you run. That also makes it useful for growers building their own recipes from raw salts. An 8 oz container goes a long way at those dose sizes. At 200 gallons per 2 oz, it stretches to roughly 800 gallons of finished solution. That puts one jar through several tent cycles or a couple of small-room runs. The trade-off is handling a fine, dusty powder in teaspoon fractions. Keep the lid tight in the mixing area, since soluble seaweed pulls moisture and cakes if left open. Log the EC and pH after adding it, and let the plant response guide the rate more than the label potash number. Key Features 99% Ascophyllum nodosum: One ingredient, so the kelp does its job without extra salts muddying a custom recipe. Fully Water-Soluble Powder: Dissolves completely and runs through drippers, dosers and foliar nozzles without leaving residue. Small Label Dose: A fraction of a teaspoon per gallon means one container covers many reservoir changes. Multiple Application Routes: Use it in the reservoir, as a foliar spray, as a transplant drench or as a seed soak. Works With Any Base Line: Kelp adds to a feed program rather than replacing anything, so it fits synthetic and organic schedules alike.
