Netafim Flex Black PVC Tubing 5/3mm 1000ft coil

Netafim PVC Tubing for Greenhouse Drip Leads Container benches and hanging baskets each need a short lead between the supply line and the plant. This coil supplies that lead in bulk, ready to be cut at the bench instead of arriving in fixed lengths. This is Netafim item 76301-000002, model 15PVC53, Flex Black PVC Tubing. The material is polyvinyl chloride, and the tube is black. Its size is 5/3 mm, a 5 mm outside diameter around a 3 mm bore. That is the same micro-tube size Netafim uses on its 3 x 5 manifold outlets and micro-tube adapters. Each coil holds 1,000 ft of continuous tube. It belongs with the components used to build drip stations in greenhouse and nursery work. Punches, plugs and barbed fittings complete those stations. The name Flex reflects a tube meant to bend into pots and along bench edges during installation. Cutting and Fitting Black PVC Micro Tube Leads Lay out one station first and measure the lead from the lateral to the pot before cutting the whole bench. Cut each length square with a sharp blade so the end seats evenly on its barb. Push the tube over the barb of the dripper, manifold or adapter until it covers the barb fully. Fit the stake or emitter at the other end in the same way. Keep leads on one zone close to the same length so every plant sees similar friction loss. Run each lead along the rim of the container rather than across walkways. Flush the supply line before the leads go on, so debris from installation does not lodge in the narrow bore. Run the zone briefly after assembly and look for drips at each joint. Reseat any lead that weeps before the crop goes on the bench. Keep the open coil bagged between jobs so dirt stays out of the tube ends.
