Netafim 3/4in Series 80 Globe Control Valve12VDC

Netafim 3/4in Series 80 12VDC Control Valve for DC Systems A DC-powered controller that keeps a valve energized through the cycle needs a matching continuous-draw solenoid, not a pulse-latch. The Netafim 3/4in Series 80 12VDC control valve runs on steady 12-volt DC and holds open while the controller powers it. Its glass-reinforced nylon body handles 7 to 150 psi and flows 0.01 to 26 GPM, enough for a bench or a full drip zone. The 3/4 inch threaded ports drop onto standard nylon fittings without adapters. When power drops, the normally closed globe shuts on its own, so a fault fails safe. Normally Closed Globe With Manual Flow Control As a 2-way normally closed globe, it seals tight when de-energized and opens cleanly under a 12VDC signal. A flow-control stem lets a grower throttle the zone or shut it by hand, from full closure up to maximum flow. Corrosion-free nylon shrugs off the fertigation salts that pit a metal body over a season. Wire it to a DC controller that holds voltage across the run for steady, repeatable cycles. For a hardwired DC system, this valve runs a zone without the pulse hardware a latching model needs.
