Netafim 1/2in Threaded Adapter for connection to pipe thread - 25 Pack

What the Netafim Techline Male Adapter Actually Connects Model TL050MA is a one-piece insert fitting. One side is a barb sized for 17mm dripline or .700 in OD tubing. The other is 1/2 in male pipe thread. You reach for it when a run of Techline has to meet a threaded riser, a valve, or a poly header. The barb grips on insertion, so there are no clamps, no glue and no tools in the install. That matters more than it sounds when you are laying out forty rows and kneeling for every fitting. Why a 17mm Dripline Fitting Has to Match the Tubing Exactly Barb fittings hold by interference, which means the tubing dimension is not a suggestion. This one is cut for 17mm and .700 in OD line. It will not seal on standard 1/2 in poly at 0.600 in ID, so check what is already in the ground before choosing a case. The body is UV resistant and takes direct sun, heat and fertigation chemicals without going brittle. That is the usual failure mode for budget fittings left exposed at the end of a row. One-piece construction means there is no glued seam to separate under pressure. A 25-pack suits a build rather than a repair, since these are the fitting you always run one short of. Key Features 17mm and .700 in OD barb: Sized for Netafim Techline and matching dripline, gripping on insertion without clamps, glue or tools. 1/2 in male pipe thread: Threads straight into a female riser, valve or header fitting at the head of a row. UV resistant one-piece body: Holds up to direct sun, heat and fertigation chemicals with no glued seam to separate under pressure. 25 per pack: Enough to lay out a full block in one pass instead of sourcing fittings twice. Model TL050MA: The Netafim Techline part number, so it matches what is already installed on an existing system.
