Method Seven Classic Clip-On LED Glasses for Blurple Grow Lights (FGV016)

Method Seven LED Glasses: Classic Clip-Ons for Your Own Prescription These are the Classic LED clip-ons from Method Seven, part number FGV016, made for growers who already wear prescription glasses. The lenses clip over your frames with spring-loaded, rubber-coated metal clasps that hold firmly without scratching. Method Seven sources the polymer lenses from Carl Zeiss. They filter the heavy blue and red output of older LED fixtures, so leaves, stems and flowers show their real color. That matters when you are hunting for deficiencies, pests or early mold. Under uncorrected purple light, yellowing and spotting are hard to see until the problem is advanced. The lenses also block 100% of UV. The Classic shape measures about 5.19 inches across and 1.38 inches tall, sized for smaller or less curved frames. Growers with large lenses should look at the Aviator clip-on instead. The pair weighs next to nothing, so it stays put during long sessions in the room. Where Blurple Correction Helps, and Where It Does Not Blurple is the pink and purple glow of LED fixtures built mostly from red and blue diodes. These lenses are tuned for that light and for magenta spectrums. They are not rated for modern full-spectrum white LEDs, which already render color well. Under a white LED, the correction would shift colors the wrong way. Check what your fixtures actually emit before relying on them. If a room mixes older blurple bars with newer white panels, color-correcting lenses will look right under only one of them. Unclip them when you step into normal light, since the tint is strong outdoors. Clean the lenses with a soft lens cloth rather than paper towels. For HPS rooms, Method Seven makes separate HPS lenses. The right lens for the light is what makes the color shift useful. Key Features Clip-On Design: Fits over your own prescription glasses.
