Integra Boost 4000cc Oxygen Scavengers Remove Oxygen, Not Moisture
Four thousand cubic centimetres of oxygen, consumed and locked away for good. That is the rating, and it is a measure of oxygen rather than of container size. Only about 21% of the air trapped in a sealed package is oxygen.

Four thousand cubic centimetres of oxygen, consumed and locked away for good. That is the rating, and it is a measure of oxygen rather than of container size. Only about 21% of the air trapped in a sealed package is oxygen. A sachet therefore serves far more volume than its number suggests. This is the largest capacity in the line, sitting above the 2000cc and the 2800cc. Twenty ship in each foil barrier bag with one oxygen indicator card, and the case holds 18 bags for 360 sachets. The sachet binds free oxygen out of the headspace and holds it in a stable compound, which is a one-way reaction and a single use.
Oxygen Absorbers for Long Term Storage, Sized Against the Air
Sizing starts with the empty space, not the product. Work out the residual air left in the sealed package, take 21% of it, and match a sachet to that number. Undersize it and oxygen remains, which defeats the point entirely. Oversize it and you have spent money on capacity nobody used. The 4000cc suits large mylar bags, lined pails and anything with real headspace; the 2000cc and 2800cc cover the smaller end. None of it works without a genuine oxygen barrier around the package. That means Mylar or foil laminate, a metal can, gasketed glass or a lined pail. Plain poly bags, paper and unlined buckets leak air back in faster than a sachet can take it out. And these remove oxygen only, so a package needing moisture control wants a two-way humidity pack working alongside them.
Key Features
Binds Free Oxygen: Locks oxygen into a stable compound, removing it from the package headspace for good.
4000cc of Oxygen Per Sachet: A capacity rating, not a container size, so it is sized against leftover air volume.
Twenty Per Barrier Bag: Open one bag at a time and use all twenty, rather than breaking into the whole case.
Oxygen Indicator Card in Each Bag: Pink reads oxygen-free and blue reads oxygen present, so a bad seal shows up.
Eighteen Bags, 360 Sachets Per Case: Case depth for a packaging line running barrier pouches at volume.
Needs a True Barrier Container: Mylar, foil laminate, a gasketed jar or a lined pail; a plain poly bag will not hold.
Self-Activating on Contact With Air: No water, shaking or priming step, which is also why the open window is short.
Addresses What Humidity Packs Cannot: Oxygen drives oxidation, color change and aerobic spoilage; moisture control does not touch it.
Single Use: Capacity is finite and the reaction is one-way, so a spent sachet gets replaced rather than dried out.
FDA Compliant Materials: Integra products are FDA compliant; the sachet itself is never edible.

Is This the Same as a Humidity Pack?
No. A Boost pack holds relative humidity at a setpoint. This removes oxygen and does nothing to moisture. They solve different problems.
How Do You Size a 4000cc Sachet?
Work out the air left in the sealed package once the product is in, then take 21% of it. That figure is the oxygen the sachet has to consume.
How Fast Must They Be Used After Opening?
Quickly. They start absorbing the moment the barrier bag is cut, so stage your packages first and open one bag at a time.
What Does the Indicator Card Tell You?
Whether the package went anaerobic. Pink means oxygen is essentially gone; blue means air is still present and the seal should be checked.
