Hydrofarm Compact Rope Ratchet 2 Pack | 1/8 in, 75 lb Each, 4 Clips

What a 75 lb Rope Ratchet Pair Actually Holds Two ratchets and four carabiner clips in the pack, running on 1/8 in cord. Each one is rated to 75 lb, which puts a pair at 150 lb between them. The internals are metal rather than moulded plastic, and that is the part that decides whether a hanger seizes up in a humid room. Pull the tail to lift, and the pawl locks itself at every click. The Honest Load Limit When You Are Hanging Grow Lights Always hang a fixture on a pair. A single one under a long housing lets it spin, and a spinning light puts a hot spot at one end of the canopy. Set the height roughly by hand, then rest a small level on the housing. Take up one side click by click until the bubble centres. Leave yourself headroom on the rating. A pair rated for the full figure should not really carry more than about two thirds of it. Tension during an adjustment runs well above the weight hanging still. Carbon filters are where growers forget that. Check the strap on the filter itself before you trust it to any hanger, these included. Key Features 75 lb per ratchet: A pair carries 150 lb between them, which covers most fixtures and inline fans. 1/8 in cord: Thin enough to stay out of the light path and still take the rated load. Metal internals: Plastic gears are what seize in a humid room. These do not. Four carabiner clips: Two per hanger, so a fixture comes down without untying anything. Locks at every click: The pawl catches on its own, so nothing slips while you walk to the other side. Hang fixtures in pairs: One hanger under a long housing lets it spin and tilts the canopy light. Two per pack: Enough for one fixture, so a two-light room wants two packs.
