Hydrofarm Active Air 6 inch Clip Fan Black | 5W Brushless, 360 Head

What the Hydrofarm Active Air 6 Inch Clip Fan Runs On Hydrofarm builds this one around a magnetic drive brushless motor rather than a brushed one. The whole fan draws 5W on a DC 5V supply. Three plastic blades turn behind a grill that lifts off for cleaning. The head swings a full 360 degrees and holds the angle you leave it at. Its spring-loaded plastic clip grips a tent pole or a flood table lip without marking it. The body measures 7.8 x 5.5 x 8.0 in and weighs about a pound, in black. Where a Quiet 5W Brushless Clip Fan Belongs in the Tent Clip it low, to a flood table lip or a rack upright, and aim the head under the foliage rather than straight into it. The still, humid layer that sits on wet media and under the lower leaves is what a fan this size is for. Moving it steadily through propagation and early veg thickens stems and keeps leaf surfaces drying between waterings. It runs at a single speed. The head aims by hand and does not sweep. Growers covering a whole tent either pair two in opposite corners or reach for an oscillating model. An external fan speed controller will take it gentler still over fresh cuttings. Judge the placement by how the leaves move. Key Features 5W Magnetic Drive Brushless Motor: No brushes to wear, so it outlasts the sleeve-bearing clip fans at this size. DC 5V Low-Voltage Supply: Draw is small enough that several units share a circuit with lights and an inline fan. 360-Degree Adjustable Head: Aim it under the canopy or across a bench and it holds that angle. Spring-Loaded Plastic Clip: Grips flood table lips, rack uprights and tent poles without marking them. Removable Safety Grill: Lifts off so the blades can be cleaned of dust and leaf litter. Speed Controller Compatible: Wire it to an external controller to soften the output over fresh cuttings. 7.8 x 5.5 x 8.0 in, About 1 lb: Light enough that the clip holds on a thin bench edge without sagging.
