Hydrofarm 6 inch Net Cup. Bag of 50, Large Mesh Basket

Where a Hydrofarm 6 inch Net Cup Earns the Space Six inches is the top of the range, and it exists for plants that stay in one place for months. Mother plants and long deep water runs are the usual reasons. A basket this size holds enough medium to keep a large root mass stable and fed. Everything else is the same slotted mesh as the smaller cups, just with more of it. What a 6 in Net Pot Demands From the Lid Under It Full, one of these is heavy enough to bow a thin lid, so the board or bucket top needs to be rigid or supported underneath. Hole size is the other constraint, since a lid drilled for anything smaller will not take one without recutting. For a plant that finishes in eight weeks, this is more basket than the job needs and the five inch is the more sensible call. Key Features Bag of 50: The working quantity for a mother room or a bank of deep water buckets. 6 in size: The largest basket in the line, holding the most medium and the most root mass. Slotted mesh wall: Roots leave the basket into the nutrient, which is what keeps a long run healthy. Wide seating lip: Spreads a heavy loaded basket across the lid rather than concentrating it at the hole. Takes any medium: Clay pebbles suit this size best, though rockwool slabs and coco both work in them.
