HLG Tomahawk 720 LED Grow Light, RJ Manual Dimming. 720W, 5x5 ft

HLG Tomahawk 720 RJ Output, Bars and Build This fixture draws up to 720W across 5 bars of full-spectrum white and deep red diodes. It is rated at 2,161 µmol/s and 2.87 µmol/J. Each bar sits in an integrated reflector that lifts canopy PPFD and softens hot spots. The driver runs on 120–277V at 50–60 Hz and mounts remotely if you want its heat outside the tent. The frame measures 40.75 x 40 x 2.5 in and weighs 20 lb. Cooling is passive, and the open bar layout lets air pass straight through. HLG backs the fixture with a 5-year warranty. Coverage is 5 x 5 ft in flower and 6 x 6 ft in veg. The recommended hanging range runs from 8 to 24 inches over the canopy. When Manual Dimming Beats Wireless Control Manual dimming keeps everything at the fixture: turn the knob and output changes, with no app, network or firmware. That suits a single tent or a small room where the light is always within reach. The RJ port also lets a wired 0–10V controller take over later, so you can add room automation without replacing the light. Start low for seedlings and young veg, then raise output step by step after the flip. Watch the tops for bleaching or curled leaf edges, and back off a notch if you see them. The low 8-inch minimum height helps in short tents and low-ceiling rooms. LED runs cooler on the leaf than HPS, so many growers raise room temperature a few degrees. Plants often drink less under LED, so water by pot weight rather than by the calendar. The spectrum has no UV or far-red channel, so add those separately if you want them. Growers who want phone scheduling across several rooms should look at the GrowFlux version instead. Key Features Five bars, 720W: About 2,161 µmol/s at 2.87 µmol/J. Knob plus RJ port: Dim by hand today, add a wired 0–10V controller later. No access point needed: Nothing to pair, update or connect to a network. Integrated reflectors: Raise canopy PPFD and reduce hot spots. Low mounting height: Works from 8 inches above the canopy in short tents. Passive, open frame: No fans, 20 lb, 5-year warranty.
