This fixture belongs to Heliospectra's ELIXIA LX60 family and draws power in the 600W class. Typical output is about 1011 µmol/s. Four channels can be set separately: 450 nm blue, 660 nm red, 735 nm far red and 5700K white. That lets you change the recipe from the network interface without touching the hardware. The body measures about 425 x 219 x 199 mm and weighs about 8 kg. A variable-speed fan cools the unit, so no ducting is needed. Its optics spread the light wide for mounting high over greenhouse crops. At 2 m above the canopy, coverage is roughly 2 x 2 m. Control runs over Ethernet or Wi-Fi to the built-in web interface. The LX60 series is rated for up to 40°C ambient.
Using a Greenhouse LED Grow Light as a Sunlight Supplement
A greenhouse led grow light earns its place in the dark months, when daylight falls short of what the crop needs. Hang it high over the benches so the wide beam blends across rows. Because each channel is separate, you can add mostly red on bright days and more blue under heavy cloud. Some growers use the far-red channel at the end of the day to steer stretch and flowering in photoperiod crops. Research teams value the same control for trials, where one channel changes while everything else stays fixed. Start with a balanced recipe, change one variable at a time, and log the plant response for at least a week. Lighting energy savings run up to 50 percent against traditional HID lamps. Output per watt is modest by today's standards, so choose it for the tuning, not for raw output. For an indoor room with low ceilings, the LX601C with indoor optics is the closer fit. A fixed white fixture is a better value if you never plan to change the spectrum.
Key Features
Four tunable channels: 450 nm, 660 nm, 735 nm and 5700K white, each dimmed on its own.
Greenhouse optics: Wide beam covers about 2 x 2 m from 2 m above the crop.
About 1011 µmol/s: 600W-class draw for supplemental greenhouse lighting.
Network control: Ethernet or Wi-Fi with a built-in web interface.
Compact fan-cooled body: About 425 x 219 x 199 mm and 8 kg, no ducting.
Recipe changes in software: Shift the spectrum by season or crop without new hardware.
