KDF85/CAT Carbon and Washable Sediment Filtration This KDF build swaps in the Premium KDF85/CAT carbon filter, which is the cartridge to run when your tap water carries chloramine, and it also helps with iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, and bacteria. Ahead of it sits a washable, reusable high flow pleated sediment filter, so the first stage rinses clean instead of getting tossed each cycle.
