The pleated design packs far more surface area than a standard spun filter, giving it high dirt-holding capacity and very low pressure drop so flow stays strong as the cartridge loads. It's built from 100% pure polypropylene polyester that resists bacteria and chemicals, and it's the sediment filter that ships standard in most GrowoniX units.
