GrowLab GL80L Grow Tent. 4ft 11in by 2ft 7in, 6ft 7in Tall

Why the GrowLab 80L Is Shaped the Way It Is Footprint shape matters more than floor area in a tent this narrow. At 2ft 7in deep, nothing inside is ever more than arm's length from the front zip. That beats climbing into a square tent to reach a back row. The width runs to 4ft 11in, so it holds a row rather than a block. Height matches the rest of the range at 6ft 7in, giving a full eight inches more headroom than the smallest model. Roof cross-members carry 100 lb, and they are movable, so a light bar can be slid along the length rather than sitting fixed in the middle. The frame is powder coated steel with snap-together corners. Inside is silver Mylar with the tent fabric reflecting 97 percent of radiant heat, over a removable waterproof floor. A Horticultural Grow Room for a Row Rather Than a Block This is the shape people reach for when the job is not a single flowering canopy. A row of mothers sits well in it, because each plant faces forward and none is buried behind another. Clone trays fit the depth exactly and leave room in front to work. It also makes a workable drying space once a crop comes down. The shallow depth keeps air moving across hanging material rather than stalling in a dead corner. Lighting is the thing to think through. One central fixture in a long tent leaves both ends dim. Either run two smaller lights along the length, or accept that the middle performs and the ends support. The honest limit is that this is not a flowering tent for a full canopy. Depth is what a big plant needs to spread into, and there is not much of it here. Use the square models for flower and keep this one for the work that happens either side of it.
