Growers Choice ROI-FF650 LED Grow Light | 650W, 1,950 µmol/s, 4x4 Flower

Growers Choice ROI-FF650 Output, Power and Build This bar fixture runs 650W and 1,950 µmol/s, or 3.0 µmol/J. That efficacy means less power and less heat for the same amount of light. The spectrum is GC-3K, a 3000K full-phase white with CRI of at least 86. Current draw is 5.55A on 120V, 2.8A on 240V, 2.4A on 277V and 1.4A on 480V. Grower's Choice builds separate low-voltage and high-voltage versions, so match the model to your service. The frame spreads to 45 x 44 x 4.2 in and weighs about 22 lb. Each bar spreads light at 120°, and cooling is passive with no fans. The housing is IP66 rated for up to 40°C ambient. It carries DLC Horticulture, ETL and CE listings, with a power factor above 0.9. Grower's Choice covers it with a 5-year warranty. Running a 4x4 Flowering LED Through Bloom A 4x4 flowering led at this output gives a full tent plenty of light without the heat of a 1000W HPS. The ROI-FF replaces that class of lamp. Hang it between six and twenty-four inches above the tops, starting high and lowering it as plants settle into flower. Dim with the onboard knob or a 0–10V controller from ten percent up to full power. Bring intensity up over the first two weeks after the flip rather than jumping straight to full output. Watch the top colas for bleaching, the first sign that the light is too close or too bright. Leaf temperature runs cooler under LED, so many growers raise room temperature a few degrees. Keep an eye on watering, because plants often drink less than they did under HPS. The bar layout spreads light evenly, which helps the corners of a square tent. For a 5x5 or larger room, a higher-output fixture covers the space better. Key Features 1,950 µmol/s at 3.0 µmol/J: High output from 650W for a full 4x4 flower canopy.
