GROW!T 4 ft Natural Bamboo Stakes, Pack of 25

Bamboo Plant Stakes in a Pack of Twenty Five Plants that flop over do not fix themselves. A stake put in early costs less than a broken branch later. These are natural bamboo, 4 ft long, twenty five to a pack. The finish is smooth rather than splintered, which matters when you are pushing a whole pack into pots by hand. Bamboo is light enough to carry a bundle under one arm and stiff enough to hold a loaded branch. It works indoors in pots and outdoors in beds. Push the stake in at the edge of the root ball rather than through the middle. Tie loosely with soft ties so the stem can still move a little. Movement is what builds stem thickness. GROW!T lists the same stake in 2 ft, 3 ft, 6 ft and 8 ft. Choosing 4 ft Garden Stakes Over Longer Ones Length is the only real decision here. Too short and the stake stops supporting before the plant stops growing. Too long and you are working around a forest of poles at canopy height. Four feet suits most indoor plants in five to fifteen gallon pots. Outdoors it handles staked tomatoes, peppers and young vines. For anything that finishes taller, step up a size rather than splicing two together. Bamboo will last several seasons if it dries out between uses. Store it under cover, because a stake left in wet soil over winter goes soft at the base. Wipe or rinse stakes between crops if you have had any disease pressure.
