Gro Pro NX Level Pot Elevator, 18.5 in | Saucer Riser for up to 20 Gal Pots

Gro Pro NX Level 18.5 in Pot Elevator for Large Pots This NX Level platform is an 18.5 in round riser built to sit in a saucer under a large container. Gro Pro rates it for fabric or plastic pots holding up to 20 gallons. Plants in pots this size drink and drain heavily, so a lot of runoff ends up in the saucer. The riser keeps the pot base above that water instead of letting it soak back into the media. A dry base helps prevent root rot and mold in the bottom of a deep root zone. Fabric pots also hold up longer when the base is not sitting wet for days. The gap underneath lets air reach the pot bottom, which supports air pruning in fabric containers. The platform measures 18.5 x 18.5 x 1 in and fits a 19 in saucer. Drainage holes in its feet keep water from pooling under the platform itself. The part number is 725679, and distributors pack it 20 to a case. It is part of the Gro Pro NX Level range of pot elevators made in several diameters. Raising a 20 Gallon Fabric Pot Off the Saucer A 20 gallon fabric pot can weigh well over a hundred pounds when it is saturated, so place the riser before you fill it. Set the riser flat in a saucer wide enough to catch runoff from every side. Center the empty pot on the platform, fill it with media, and then move it into position if needed. Water to light runoff and clear the saucer before it sits for long. Large containers dry slowly, and a wet base slows that further, so a riser helps the root zone breathe between feeds. Clean runoff samples from the saucer give a truer read on EC and pH in a big container. In outdoor beds and greenhouses, the riser also lifts the pot off a cold or uneven floor. Check under each pot every week or two for gnats, algae and pests that like damp shade. Wash risers between crops and store them flat. Running the same riser under every big pot keeps a row of plants at one height. Key Features 18.5 in Diameter: Fits inside saucers made for large grow pots.
