Gro Pro NX Level Pot Elevator, 16 in | Saucer Riser for 15 Gallon Pots

Gro Pro Pot Elevator, NX Level 16 in for 15 Gallon Pots This NX Level platform is a 16 in round riser that sits in a saucer and lifts the pot above the water line. Gro Pro rates it for fabric or plastic pots holding up to 15 gallons. That covers the mid-size containers many growers run in flower rooms, from 10 gallon to 15 gallon. Drainage that collects in the saucer stays below the pot instead of wicking back into the media. A dry base helps prevent root rot and mold where roots crowd the bottom of the pot. Fabric pots also last longer when they are not sitting in water between feeds. The open gap underneath lets air reach the pot bottom, which supports air pruning in fabric containers. A full pot this size is heavy, so the riser also gives fingers room to grip the bottom edge when moving it. The part number is 725677, and distributors pack it 30 to a case. It belongs to the Gro Pro NX Level range of pot elevators made in several diameters. Using Risers Under a 15 Gallon Pot A 15 gallon pot can hold a lot of water, and the runoff from a full feed fills a saucer quickly. Set the riser flat in a saucer that leaves a few inches of clearance around the pot. Center the pot on the platform. It should sit evenly and not rock. After watering to runoff, pull the extra from the saucer with a wet vac or let a wick draw it away. Roots then stay out of the salt-heavy water that builds up in the dish over a cycle. Runoff samples taken from a clean saucer give a truer picture of EC and pH in the root zone. On long benches, using the same riser under every pot keeps the canopy at one height. Look under the pots every week or two for gnat larvae and algae, which like damp shade. Wash risers between runs with a mild sanitizer and store them stacked and dry. Big pots get repositioned less often, so set them on risers before the first full watering. Key Features 16 in Diameter: Fits inside saucers made for mid-size grow pots.
