Gro Pro NX Level Pot Elevator, 13 in. Saucer Riser for Pots up to 7 Gal

Gro Pro NX Level 13 in Plant Pot Elevator This Gro Pro NX Level platform is a 13 in round riser that sits inside a saucer and lifts the pot above it. Gro Pro sizes it for fabric or plastic pots holding up to 7 gallons. Runoff that drains into the saucer collects underneath, instead of soaking back into the bottom of the pot. Keeping the base out of standing water helps prevent root rot and mold in the lower root zone. It also helps fabric pots last longer, since the bottom is not sitting wet between waterings. The open space under the pot lets air reach the base, which suits fabric pots that rely on air pruning. Slip it into the saucer before setting the pot down, and the pot stays level on the platform. It is part of the Gro Pro NX Level range of pot elevators built in several diameters to match common pot sizes. The part number is 725675, and distributors carry it in cases of 50 for larger rooms. Small pots of this size get moved often, and a riser makes them easier to lift without dripping. Setting Up a Saucer Riser Under Small Pots A saucer riser earns its keep in rooms that hand-water to runoff. Pick a saucer with a few inches of clearance around the pot so drainage has somewhere to go. Set the riser flat in the saucer, then center the pot on top so the weight spreads evenly. Water until a small amount drains, then empty or wick the saucer before the next feed. With the pot lifted, roots no longer sit in the salt-heavy runoff that builds up in the dish. That makes runoff EC and pH readings more honest, because the sample has not been re-absorbed. On a crowded bench, risers also keep every pot at the same height for an even canopy. Check under the pots now and then for fungus gnat larvae, which favour damp, dark corners. Rinse risers between crops and stack them away dry. For 3 and 5 gallon pots in a small tent, this size keeps the footprint tight. Key Features 13 in Diameter: Fits inside saucers made for small and mid-size pots. Pots up to 7 Gallons: Sized for fabric or plastic pots in the 1 to 7 gallon range. Lifts Pots Out of Runoff: Keeps the base clear of water that collects in the saucer. Helps Prevent Root Rot: A dry pot bottom discourages rot and mold in the lower root zone. Airflow Under Fabric Pots: Open space below supports air pruning on the pot base.
