It slides into the unit and connects to 4 in ducting to carry burner heat out of the grow space. The anodized surface sheds heat and resists corrosion in humid rooms. It is an optional accessory, not included with the generator. Matching Heat Tubes to Your CO2 Generator Tube count depends on the model: the CD-24 takes one, the CD-48 takes two, the IR-28 takes two, and the IR-42 takes three.
