FoxFarm Kelp Me Kelp You 0.5-0-0.5. Bush Doctor Liquid Kelp, 1 Gallon. 1 gallon

What the FoxFarm Kelp Me Kelp You Label Says Kelp Me Kelp You is the seaweed product in FoxFarm's Bush Doctor line of organic supplements. The guaranteed analysis is 0.50% nitrogen and 0.50% soluble potash, with no phosphate. The label also guarantees 0.20% copper and 0.30% zinc, which most kelp products do not list at all. Those come from the derived-from list: kelp meal, kelp extract, potassium hydroxide as an extractant, copper sulfate, zinc sulfate and soy protein hydrolysate. FoxFarm names the seaweed as Ascophyllum nodosum. The product is OMRI Listed and a registered CDFA Organic Input Material. That matters to growers running a certified or strictly organic garden. FoxFarm pitches it for fruits, vegetables, flowers and container plants as well as indoor gardens. It is sold in pint, quart and gallon sizes. The gallon is the size to keep on hand when several beds or a full room get it on schedule. Shake the jug before measuring. Feeding a Liquid Kelp Through the Vegetative Stage The label rate is 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 mL) per gallon of fresh water, for soil and hydro alike. In the ground or in containers, drench the soil thoroughly and repeat every other week. Keep going through the vegetative cycle and stop at the first sign of bud development. In a hydroponic reservoir, mix at the same rate and flush the system every two weeks. It pairs with the rest of the FoxFarm line, and the label allows any other nutrient program too. Many growers also mist it on leaves during veg, but foliar kelp should end once flowers start. At the label rate, this jug treats roughly 380 to 760 gallons of water. The nitrogen and potash are small, so it will not change the balance of a base feed. The copper and zinc are the part to watch if you already run a micronutrient supplement. Stacking several products with the same trace elements is where problems start. Keep the cap tight and store the jug away from heat and freezing.
