FloraFlex High Bay 680W Build and Output
This is FloraFlex's compact option, a single 20 x 15.25 x 6.375 in housing instead of a spread of bars. It draws 680W and delivers 1,836 µmol/s, or 2.7 µmol/J. Output dims from 100W to full power on a 0–10V signal, and fixtures daisy-chain for room control.

Input covers 120–277V, drawing 5.75A at 120V, 2.85A at 240V or 2.45A at 277V. Cooling is passive, and the fixture is sealed to IP65 for humid rooms and wash-down days. It weighs 19.05 lb, so standard ratchet hangers or a light rail handle it. The spectrum is FloraFlex's custom full spectrum with added reds, spread over a 120° distribution. It is ETL and DLC listed, rated L90 above 50,000 hours and covered by a 5-year warranty. Maximum ambient temperature is 95°F. Many growers compare this 680W LED grow light with FloraFlex's eight-bar 900-class model, which puts out similar light from a wider frame.
When a High Bay LED Grow Light Beats a Bar Fixture
A high bay led grow light makes sense where ceilings are tall or the room is shared with carts, trellis and irrigation. The mounting height is eighteen to thirty-six inches above the canopy, higher than its bar fixture. That extra distance helps the light blend across a 4x4 canopy instead of creating hot spots. It also leaves more working room between the fixture and the plants during defoliation. The wide dimming range is the other reason to pick it. Turned down low, it can hold a clone or veg room without swapping fixtures, then run full power once flowers set. The trade-off is uniformity at the edges, which a spread-bar design handles slightly better at the same output. In a short tent, the height requirement works against it, and a bar fixture will fit better. Match the voltage version to the circuit feeding the room before you hang it. In a greenhouse or a converted warehouse with open ceilings, it installs like any commercial high bay.
