EcoPlus Eco Air 8 Air Pump | 8 Outlets, 13 W, 380 GPH, Oil-Free

What the EcoPlus Eco Air 8 Puts Out This eight-outlet pump moves 380 GPH of air while drawing just 13 W. That works out to about 24 litres a minute, split across eight outlets. With every outlet in use, each line gets close to 47 GPH, plenty for a stone in a 5 gal bucket. It runs oil-free, so there is no lubricant to change and nothing that can reach the nutrient solution. EcoPlus fits it with durable cylinders and pistons meant for continuous duty. The pump measures about 7.5 x 10.7 x 5.9 in and weighs roughly 5.9 lb. That weight keeps it planted on a shelf, so it stays put while it runs. Running costs stay low, even with the pump on around the clock. The pump carries a one-year warranty. Tubing, stones and check valves are added separately, so each line can be built to suit its container. Running an 8 Outlet Air Pump Across a System An 8 outlet air pump is the natural fit for a recirculating DWC system with several sites. It also suits a bench of cloners or a large reservoir that needs stones spread along its floor. Mount the pump above the waterline, and put a check valve on each line so nothing can siphon back in an outage. Keep the airline runs close to the same length, which helps the stones bubble evenly. Unused outlets should be capped or run to a spare stone, so no air is wasted. Each stone belongs on the floor of its container, giving the bubbles the full depth to rise. A rubber mat under the pump cuts the hum that carries through hollow shelving. Leave a drip loop in the power cord so stray water runs off before the plug. Clean the stones when bubbles turn patchy, since salt buildup slowly chokes airflow. Warm water holds less oxygen, so reservoir temperature deserves a check in summer. Set up with care, it keeps every site on a large system bubbling steadily. Key Features 380 GPH air output: Enough for eight stones across a multi-site system. Eight outlets: Feeds buckets, cloners or a long reservoir from one pump. 13 W power draw: Runs nonstop at low cost for its output. Oil-free operation: No lubricant to maintain or leak into the reservoir. One-year warranty: Backed by EcoPlus for continuous use.
