Dry & Mighty Bag X-Large, 500 Pack. 16.5 x 14.5 in, 6 in Gusset

The Dry and Mighty X-Large 500 Pack as a Facility Quantity Five hundred bags at 16.5 by 14.5 inches with a 6 inch gusset is a facility quantity. Capacity across the carton is close to 11,750 litres of sealed storage. Per bag this is as low as the cost goes. That is the only reason to go to this count, and it is a good one. Film, closure and dimensions are unchanged at this count. LDPE in three laminated layers, a light-blocking outer and two moisture barriers. A heavy-duty ziplock, with heat and vacuum sealing available. FDA approved, food safe and BPA free, as Dry and Mighty list it. What changes at five hundred is logistics rather than specification. The carton itself takes real shelf space and it is awkward to move part-used. Decanting into smaller boxes near the bench is worth the ten minutes. A carton kept at the packing station gets dragged around and the film gets creased. Bulk Film Storage Before the Bags Get Used Bulk film storage decides whether the last bag in a carton works as well as the first. LDPE is stable, and it is not indifferent to how it is kept. Heat is the main enemy of an unused laminate. Above about thirty degrees Celsius the adhesive between layers softens over months. A delaminated bag still looks fine and no longer holds a barrier. Keep the carton off a concrete floor and away from any lamp or ballast. Pressure is the second thing to manage. Five hundred bags under a stack of other cartons take a permanent crease across the gusset. A creased gusset will not open fully, so the bag loses volume it was paid for. Store the carton upright with nothing on top of it. Humidity does not harm the film, though it does harm anything sealed in damp. Let bags reach room temperature before filling, because cold film creases where warm film folds. Key Features 500 bags per pack: Close to 11,750 litres of sealed capacity across the carton. Lowest cost per bag: This is the count where the per-bag figure bottoms out. 16.5 x 14.5 in with a 6 in gusset: Near 23.5 litres a bag with the gusset fully open. Triple-laminated LDPE: A light block outside and two moisture barriers behind it. Keep the carton cool: Heat softens the adhesive between laminate layers over months. Store it upright: Weight on top creases the gusset and the bag loses volume. Decant near the bench: A part-used carton dragged around the packing station creases film.
