DL Wholesale 18 in Clear Top Bowl Leaf Trimmer. Manual Crank, Wet or Dry

Inside the DL Wholesale 18 Inch Bowl Trimmer A wide bowl lets a bigger handful of flower tumble freely on each pass of the crank. Across the base the trimmer measures 19 x 19 in, and it stands 11 in tall. Inside, a stainless steel straight blade spins just below a slotted grate. As the crank turns, buds roll across the grate and any leaf that drops into the slots gets cut. Its cutting action works like about 30 pairs of scissors running at once. The current build uses metal gears and a metal shaft, thicker blades and rubber fingers. A transparent lid covers the bowl, so the trim stays contained and visible the whole time. One straight blade ships with the trimmer, and straight and wire cross replacement blades are made for this bowl. The crank handle detaches after use, which keeps the unit compact on a storage shelf. Herb growers use it to clean material for essential oils, aromatherapy products and potpourri. Daily Work With a Clear Top Leaf Trimmer A clear top leaf trimmer at this width suits outdoor and greenhouse harvests that are too big for scissors alone. Remove fan leaves and long stems first, then fill the bowl about a third of the way. A crowded bowl leaves leaf on the bottom of each flower untouched. Turn the crank smoothly and resist the urge to speed up near the end. Watch through the lid and stop the moment the buds look clean. Fresh material sheds leaf easily, while cured flower is more fragile and needs slower cranking. Some growers remove a spacer washer between blade and grate when the first batch comes out rough, which tightens the cut. Pause every few batches to scrape gummy buildup off the blade and grate. Buds come out loose, so a mesh drying rack works better than hanging whole stalks afterwards. Wash the lid, bowl and blade with warm soapy water when the harvest wraps up, and let every part dry before reassembly. Key Features Wide 18 in bowl: Larger handfuls tumble and clean evenly.
