Common Culture Harvest Trim Tray Kit. 150 Micron Screen, Trojan Scissors

What Comes in the Common Culture Harvest Trim Tray Kit This hand-trimming kit is built around a two-level tray with a 150-micron screen on top and a catch tray below. Flower is trimmed over the screen, and the fine crystal that falls from the leaf passes through to the tray underneath. Leafy trim stays on the screen, so the two separate as the work goes on. A crystal brush comes in the box for sweeping the catch tray clean. The tray has no exposed rivets, so there are no corners for resin to build up in. Its base can stay smooth to glide across a table or lap. Eight foam pads are included to make the base non-slip when the tray needs to stay put. Trojan trimming scissors round out the kit, so a new trimmer can start work straight away. The tray was developed with commercial crews and home growers in mind, so it works at a bench or on a lap. Setting Up a Trimming Tray for a Long Session A Common Culture trimming tray earns its keep on the long sessions that follow a harvest. Decide first whether the tray will sit on a table or on your lap, and fit the foam pads for table work. Keep the screen dry and work over it with flower that has finished drying for a dry trim. Trim each bud over the centre of the screen so crystal falls straight through. Clear leafy trim off the screen every few buds so the mesh stays open. Tap the tray gently from time to time to help crystal pass through to the catch tray. At the end of the session, lift the screen and brush the collected crystal into a clean container. Wipe resin from the scissor blades with isopropyl alcohol as it builds up. Clean the screen and trays with warm water and mild soap, then let them dry fully before the next use. Store the kit flat so the screen keeps its shape between harvests. Key Features 150-micron screen: Separates fine crystal from leafy trim as you work.
