Botanicare Low Tide LT Black Tray 4ft x 4ft. 3.5in Low Profile, 30 Gal

Why the Botanicare Low Tide 4x4 Tray Runs Shallow on Purpose Most growers under a 4x4 do not need a reservoir underfoot. They need runoff to go somewhere. Low Tide answers that with a 3.5 in sidewall instead of the seven inches on a full flood tray. That cuts the plastic without cutting the footprint. Inside floor is a true 48 in x 48 in, and it will still hold 30 gallons if something upstream fails. The drainage grid runs diagonally rather than square, so water tracks toward the outlet instead of pooling in a grid pocket under a pot. Fitting a 4x4 Drip Tray Under an Actual 4x4 Here is the number to check first. Outside dimensions are 49 in x 49 in x 3.75 in, and a 4x4 tent floor is 48 in square. This tray does not drop inside a 4x4 tent, it goes under a bench, a rack or a freestanding 4x4 canopy. Growers who want it inside the tent size down instead. Once it is placed, set a slight pitch toward the drain end and let the diagonal grid do the rest. The tray edge is trimmed rather than flanged, so it sits flatter and takes up less bench width than the ID trays. Recycled and recyclable ABS, BPA free, made in the USA on solar. If you are running true ebb and flow with a deep flood, this is the wrong tray and the ID line is the right one. Between runs it lifts and rinses easily at this depth, which is not true of a loaded seven-inch tray. Key Features 3.5 in low profile sidewall: Catchment depth without paying for plastic you do not need under a drip or hand-water setup. True 48 in x 48 in inside floor: Full 4x4 of growing space, sitting in the same footprint as the canopy above it. 30 gallon capacity: Deep enough to hold a full reservoir dump if a pump or a fitting lets go overnight. Diagonal drainage grid: Directs water toward the outlet instead of leaving it standing in grid pockets under pots. Trimmed tray edge: Sits flatter and narrower on a bench than a flanged tray of the same nominal size.
