Anden Low Conductivity Steam Canister & O-ring

Anden Low Conductivity Steam Canister (AS80LC) & O-Ring The Anden AS80LC low conductivity steam canister is engineered for precise humidity control in professional grow rooms using water under 300 µS/cm or 120VAC installs. As the humidifier boils water to produce steam, minerals remain behind—this can raise water conductivity and coat electrodes, reducing effectiveness. The AS80LC canister maintains stable output by exposing fresh, uncoated electrode surface as levels rise, sustaining consistent performance over the service life. How It Helps Growers Optimized for low-conductivity water, the AS80LC reduces nuisance draining and keeps your AS35/AS35FP delivering predictable humidity, supporting ideal VPD targets and healthier harvests. The included O-ring ensures a tight, leak-free seal, while Anden’s tool-accessible design makes canister changes quick and clean. Composition, Compatibility & Use Built for Anden models AS35 and AS35FP, this replacement canister is tuned for <300 µS/cm water and should not be used with softened water. If your unit drains too frequently, conductivity may be too high—switch to the standard AS80 canister to reduce drain cycles. Install is straightforward: power down, replace, seal with the new O-ring, and resume operation for reliable steam output. Key Benefits: Purpose-built for low-conductivity water (<300 µS/cm) to stabilize steam output Designed for AS35/AS35FP for perfect fit, quick service, and fewer hassles Reduces mineral-related electrode coating to maintain consistent performance Includes O-ring for a secure, leak-free seal after every canister swap Helps sustain target humidity/VPD for healthier plants and reliable yields
