Air Box Jr. Exhaust (Coco) Air Filter Odor Control

What the Air Box Jr Exhaust Does in a Small Room The Junior is the compact end of the Air Box line, and this is the carbon version. Airflow is rated to 250 CFM through a 10 in flange, in a housing of roughly 12 x 12 x 5.5 in that weighs about 14.5 lbs. Media is 100% premium virgin coconut charcoal, with a pre-filter in front of it. Maximum operating temperature is 176 F. It hangs from rope, chain, cable or ratchets, and it is happy pushing or pulling. That means it works as an exhaust scrubber or as a filtered intake. What it will not do is scrub a room that needs real airflow, since the whole Junior format tops out well below the Stealth range. Pairing a Coconut Charcoal Duct Filter With a HEPA Intake A coconut charcoal duct filter on the exhaust and a HEPA unit on the intake is the layout the Junior range was drawn for. Running both is what makes a small room genuinely sealed. Carbon on the way out handles odour and the warm, loaded air leaving the canopy. HEPA on the way in stops spores, pollen and insects reaching the plants in the first place. Both hang from the same hardware and take the same duct diameter, so the install is symmetrical. Keep the pre-filter changed, because dust reaching the carbon shortens its life for no benefit. A cartridge that stops smelling of carbon and starts smelling of the room has done its work. Key Features 250 CFM rating: Sized for a small sealed room rather than a commercial exhaust run. Ten inch flange: Standard duct diameter on a compact housing, roughly 12 x 12 x 5.5 in. Premium virgin coconut charcoal: 100% activated media rather than a reactivated or blended carbon. Pre-filter included: Catches dust before it reaches the carbon, which is what stretches cartridge life. Push or pull: Works as an exhaust scrubber or as a filtered intake, on the same hardware. Hangs from rope or chain: Mounts with rope, chain, cable or ratchets at about 14.5 lbs.
