Active Aqua Air Pump 2 Outlets | 7.8 L/min, 3W, 125 GPH

What the Active Aqua Air Pump Delivers on Three Watts Output is 7.8 litres per minute, which works out to about 125 gallons per hour of air, split across two outlets. Draw is 3 W, low enough that leaving it running around the clock costs almost nothing. The flow is adjustable rather than fixed, so two stones on the same pump can be balanced instead of one hogging the output. A multi-level muffler and an artificial rubber diaphragm keep the noise down and the pressure steady. That matters when the pump sits in a room somebody works in. Two outlets means two stones, or one stone and a spare line. Push it past that with a splitter and each drop gets weak. Matching a 2 Outlet Air Pump to Stones and Vessels A 2 outlet air pump at this rating covers a pair of medium stones, or one large stone. Beyond that it runs out of headroom. Check the litres-per-minute figure on the stones before pairing. A stone rated above the pump gurgles from one face and does nothing from the rest. Keep the pump above the water line, or fit a check valve on each line. Water siphoning back into a diaphragm pump is how these die. Sitting it on foam rather than a bare shelf removes most of the residual hum. Replace the airline when it stiffens, as hardened tubing cracks at the barb and drops the pressure without an obvious sign. Key Features 7.8 litres per minute: About 125 GPH of air, which covers two medium stones or one large one. Two outlets: Runs a pair of vessels, or one stone with a second line held in reserve. 3 watts: Low enough draw to run continuously, so the pump never needs a timer. Adjustable air flow: Balances two drop lines instead of letting one take most of the output. Multi-level muffler: Quiet enough to live in a room someone is working in.
