Active Air 8 inch Clip Fan Black. 10W Brushless, 360-Degree Head

The Active Air 8 Inch Clip Fan Runs Quiet on 10 Watts This is the black 8-inch clip fan Active Air builds on a 10W brushless motor. Brushless is what you are paying for here, because there are no brushes to wear out, so the motor outlasts the sleeve-bearing fans it sits beside on a rack, and it runs quiet enough to leave on through lights-out. Three plastic blades turn behind a grill that lifts off for cleaning, which you will want after a few weeks near wet media. The whole unit weighs about a pound and measures 8.75 x 8.75 x 6.75 in. Placing a Hydroponic Grow Fan Under the Foliage The spring-loaded clip is made for flood table lips, rack uprights, tent poles and bench edges. Aim the head through its full 360 degrees and it holds there. That is the trade-off worth knowing: this fan points, it does not oscillate. Growers wanting a sweep should pair two units facing different corners. Because it accepts an external fan speed controller, you can dial it down for propagation rather than living with one speed. Under a bench it clears the stagnant layer that collects around wet media. Key Features 10W Brushless Motor: No brushes to wear, so it outlasts sleeve-bearing fans at a similar size. 360-Degree Adjustable Head: Aim it once at the canopy or under the bench and it holds the angle. Spring-Loaded Plastic Clip: Grips flood table lips, rack uprights and tent poles without marking them. Speed Controller Compatible: Wire it to an external controller to drop the output for propagation. Removable Safety Grill: Lifts off so the blades can be cleaned of dust and leaf litter. 8.75 x 8.75 x 6.75 in, 1 lb: Light enough that the clip holds on thin bench edges without sagging.
